Here at APEX Performance Wellness & Rehab, we’re excited to provide physical therapy for sports injury, chronic pain, motor vehicle accidents and surgery rehab. We accept health insurance, but also have self pay options. Health insurance can be complicated and frustrating. What’s worse, is it can be limiting to your plan of care and ensuring a full recovery from injury or surgery. Some of the most common health insurance limitations include: low amount of visits per year, high deductible, out of network, not “medically necessary”, and others.
Throughout your rehab process at APEX, we will strive to decrease your pain symptoms, improve range of motion, and most importantly, help regain confidence. Even if you start off your care with health insurance, it is common to continue to work out with us utilizing a self pay option, group training option or online program (in APEX365). Our self pay packages can be utilized amongst family members, used for new injuries that come up, used as check ins three, six or nine months out and in any other combination to achieve the best possible outcome.
We would love to hear from you and help you maximize your health insurance benefits. Many plans from most providers include coverage for physical therapy, both in and out of network. While some plans can be limiting and only cover 10 total visits in a year, others may have 100 visits or even UNLIMITED.

While we LOVE utilizing health insurance and making each session as cost effective as possible, it can also lead to limitations or complete denial of care. What we like most about self pay packages, are that they allow us to include other exercises and movements that the health insurance company wouldn’t allow. Treating the body as a whole has shown great results through studies, and we also like to help you improve in more ways than one in each session. Utilizing self pay, we can incorporate anything and everything that would make you stronger, in better cardiovascular shape, and achieve the best long term outcome WITHOUT limitation from your health insurance company.

It is our belief that we should do all we can before ever getting surgery. While there is obvious instances in which surgery is required, we strive to provide excellent physical therapy with the hopes to minimize risk of re-injury, and helping to avoid future surgical intervention.
Physical therapy can help to avoid surgery. It strengthens ligaments, tendons and muscles, which are key in protecting the body. PT is also a cost-effective approach as opposed to a costly surgery. We are confident we help reduce risk of future injury & surgical intervention by educating you during your time with us. Knowledge that you can take with you for years to come.
If our experienced physical therapists do not see progress with your injury, they will refer you to our trusted physicians and work with you pre and post op for the best outcome.

Virtual Physical Therapy
Implementing virtual Physical Therapy (telehealth) into a patients plan of care teaches them to be autonomous, and learn how to care for their body in the comfort of their own home, on a business trip, or elsewhere. It is convenience and care combined into one.
Patients can go exclusively virtual or mix it in as an option when the schedule is busy and they can’t make it across town.
For the busy, traveling worker, virtual physical therapy has shown great benefit. Especially when the care is for an injury that is worsened when working – think sitting in a car for hours, and having pain while being seated, or standing up from seated. Having virtual physical therapy allows our team to be with our patients wherever they go to minimize pain and actually improve their situation even while away from home.
