45-minute talk + Q&A with Stacy Marie, NP

Perimenopause is more than hot flashes. It’s a time of powerful hormonal shifts that influence your bones, metabolism, and muscle strength.

In her session, Stacy Marie, NP will break down why your body feels different during this stage  and how to protect your strength, energy, and longevity through a functional medicine lens.

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of what’s happening beneath the surface and practical, evidence-based tools to take control of your health.

45-minute movement + pelvic floor session with Dr. Jessica Hund, DPT

Your pelvic floor plays a key role in posture, strength, and even hormonal balance yet it’s often overlooked during perimenopause.

Dr. Jessica will help you understand how hormonal shifts impact the tissues of your pelvic floor, what signs of imbalance to look for, and how simple, intentional movements can make a major difference in daily life, exercise, and intimacy.

You’ll leave knowing how to reconnect with your body, protect your pelvic health, and move with confidence through every season.

APEX PWR Strength Team
45-minute strength training session

Learn proper form with barbell and free-weight exercises, and build the confidence to safely lift for strength and bone health. We will have a 45 minute workout utilizing the entire APEX PWR facility following the presentation and exercises from Dr. Jess, DPT. 

Our team will teach you foundational strength & resistance training movements, no matter what your fitness level or experience!

There is plenty of equipment variety to scale all exercises, providing an easy entry point for those new to strength training but also a challenge for those that are looking to take things to another level. We will have multiple strength coaches leading the workout so you have hands-on attention to provide support, safety and an engaging environment. Our goal is to leave you with confidence to enter any gym and perform the basic, fundamental movements to build bone density, lean muscle mass, and resiliency for life through perimenopause and on!

Community lunch, Conversation & Connection

After the presentations and workout, we will provide all attendees with a healthy, nourishing lunch. This will allow each person time to refuel and connect with other women in a supportive, empowering space. This will also provide time to ask additional questions and leave feeling confident!
