The 5 Steps to Your Sports Science Assessment

Step 1 – 📞 Book a Call
Let’s talk about your athlete. Their sport, their season, their goals, and what you’re hoping to build.
Step 2 – 🔍 Sports Science Assessment
Two sessions covering VALD force plate and speed gate testing, plus a
full movement and strength evaluation. Everything we need to build a real plan.
Step 3 – 💪 Experience the Training
Trial sessions in the semi-private environment so your athlete feels the coaching and programming firsthand.
Step 4 – 🤝 Consultation & Commitment
Walk through the SSA results, review your athlete’s custom program, choose a commitment tier, and decide if APEX is the right fit.
Step 5 – 📈 Train, Retest, Progress
Execute the plan and retest quarterly. Gains show up in real numbers, not guesses.
Why It Works For Young Athletes
Built on Data, Not Guesswork
Every athlete starts with a Sports Science Assessment on VALD force plates and speed gates. Same tech used by pro teams and college programs. Programming is built from their numbers, their sport, and their development stage.
Safe, Age-Appropriate Progress
As a physical therapy clinic at our core, we prioritize movement quality before load. Every program is age and development appropriate. Your athlete builds a foundation they can stand on, not one that breaks them
down.
Real Coaching. Real Ratios.
Semi-private training means intentional coach-to-athlete ratios. No room full of kids running the same drill. Every rep has a coach watching, and
every session has a purpose.
What Athletes and Parents Are Saying
Frequently Asked Questions
Properly coached strength training is safe and beneficial for youth
athletes. We work with athletes as young as eight. Programming is age and development appropriate, which means younger athletes build movement
quality and body control before load gets added. We don’t put kids under
a barbell before they’re ready.
Generic gym programs aren’t built for athletic development. They’re built for general fitness, and they treat every body the same. We start with an objective assessment, not an assumption. Your athlete’s programming is
built from their data, their sport, and their goals. That’s the
difference between training and just showing up.
Skill coaching and performance training are two different things. A sport coach teaches your athlete how to play. A skill coach sharpens specific techniques. Performance training builds the physical foundation
underneath both. Stronger, faster, more durable athletes get more out of every practice. We don’t compete with those coaches. We make their work stick.
Yes. In-season is one of the most important times to train, because it's
when performance has to be protected, not rebuilt. Our programming is
built to support competition loads without piling on more volume. We adjust around game schedules, travel, and recovery windows so training
helps performance instead of fighting it.
You'll get a full walkthrough of your athlete's baseline data, the
specific plan we’d build from it, and the commitment options that fit. If it’s the right fit, you pick a tier and start training. If it’s not,
there’s no pitch and no hard sell.
The Sports Science Assessment is $199 and is required before membership begins. Semi-private memberships start at $181 per month for the 18-month Elite tier at 1x per week, and scale up based on commitment length and
weekly frequency. You’ll walk through exact pricing in the consultation after the SSA so you can choose the right commitment and frequency for your athlete.
Schedules shift. In-season, off-season, school load, life outside of sport. At every 3-month checkpoint in your contract, you can upgrade or downgrade training frequency (1x, 2x, 3x, or 4x per week) to match what’s realistic. The contract length stays the same. Only the weekly dose and rate adjust.
