Welcome to youth group training at Apex PWR!
FAQ
Q: What is our approach to youth training?
A: Strength training to support the health and performance of young athletes isn’t an overnight process. We make sure to incorporate different ways to make training fun and effective so that kids find excitement in challenging themselves in the weight room while building foundations to ensure long term success.
Q: How is a class structured typically?
A: Every session might look slightly different, but we will always have exercises and activities that target development of speed/agility, power/plyometrics, endurance, mobility, and upper, lower body, & core/trunk strengths.
Q: How often should my kid(s) come in to get the benefits?
A: Anywhere from 1-3 times a week is what we generally recommend. We recognize that your schedule gets crazy when a sport is in season so it’s usually helpful to remember that going from not doing any training to just once a week makes a big difference. Whatever feels manageable to you and your kids, that’s the best frequency!
